Eoin Colfer, author of the multi-million-selling Artemis Fowl series loves meeting his young readers so much that he makes his public appearances an event.

His recent book tour of Britain wasn't a simple Q&A session, but a fully scripted performance:

The Irish author was recommended to me by my friends at home, Irish parents, when his Artemis Fowl book became a global success, and I've been enjoying them since.

The Irish author from Wexford is taking a break from Artemis Fowl with his latest book, Half-Moon Investigations, in which you'll find a differnet Ireland. Colfer is in Florida right now on his US tour promoting it. Let me know if he comes to Kansas City.
