There are 46 photos of The Elders by the Irish photographer known as Eire Photography, and all are available for purchase.

Enter The Haggis signs with UFO Music

Enter The Haggis has recently partnered with the New York City-based label UFO Music - United For Opportunity.
In the coming months Casualties of Retail will be re-released as an enhanced CD, including never before seen photos, an in-depth look at the making of the album and some DVD footage. We're really excited about this and we can't wait to see where the next year will take us!
Looks like ETH are in the ascendency and their appearances at Kansas City's Irish Festival are a big part of that story.

KC Irish Fest Exhibit at Muskegon

The KC Irish Fest Names Exhibit has been loaned to the Michigan Irish Fest this weekend at Muskegon's downtown festival grounds (Sep 16-18).

Part of the Heritage Area of KC's Irish Fest, the Irish Names Exhibit features Ireland's most common surnames, highlighting the Irish counties from which your ancestors hail.

It's been a very popular feature of the KC Irish Fest for the last couple of years and a wonderful starting point in researching your Irish surname.

The Killdares at KCIF

The Killdares are back from playing the Kansas City Irish Festival over Labor Day weekend, and they describe their time at KCIF as incredible.
The staff and hospitality are to die for, and the crowds were even better. With shows on the main stages both Saturday and Sunday, THE KILLDARES made a mighty impression on those Kansas City-ans, and had the pleasure of sharing the stage with a wonderful group of people including Eilenn Ivers, Enter The Haggis and The Elders. Lookin' forward to going back. Thank you KCIF!
Thank You Killdares. Having fallen asleep after working hard on the KCIF website, it was The Killdares injection of The Ramones into Irish music that woke me up and reminded me I was at a rock gig.

KC Irish Fest vendor launches site

KC Irish Fest vendor Banshee Art launched a new website this week. Featuring the Fused Glass Artwork of Ger Markey, BansheeArt.com includes a gallery of eighteen pieces of work inspired by the many ancient stone carvings found in areas like the Boyne Valley in Ireland, especially the megalithic passage tombs like Newgrange.

At KC Irish Fest I witnessed many festival goers wearing necklaces with BansheeArt pendants - each one a unique handmade Irish art piece.

If you missed BansheeArt at KC Irish Fest, head straight on over to check out this unique Irish talent
