The KC Star is reporting that Claddagh Irish Pub has purchased a pad site at Cornerstone of Leawood the 360,000-square-foot retail development at 135th Street, and will likely open by the end of the year.

And if you can't make it on St Patrick's Day, Jed will be playing Saturday night and Bob Reeder will be playing Sunday.

We have a theme! The KC St Patrick's Day Parade Committee has chosen the theme for the 2006 Kansas City St. Patrick's Day Parade. Honoring one of Kansas City's most famous talents, Walt Disney, the theme is An Irish Tribute to Walt Disney

The theme reflects our Irish heritage, our Kansas City heritage or sometimes it's built upon current events

Disney grew up here in KC and founded Laugh-O-Gram Films before moving to Hollywood to make history with some Mickey Mouse stuff.
