Brobdingnagian Bards at O'Malleys

The Brobdingnagian Bards, who are very well known in Celtic music internet circles with blogging, podcasting and social networking, are scheduled to play a once-off gig at O'Malley's Irish Pub - that 1842 thing - in Weston, Missouri on May 17, a Wednesday, at 7:00pm.

If you remember the 1st Celtic Music Awards, the Bards were responsible for them. If you don't remember those Celtic Music Awards, then Bono was responsible for them.

The Bards are a self-declared Celtic Renaissance musical duo [who] combine the folk songs of Ireland and Scotland with a little Lord of the Rings styling, and you can listen to a shedload of their songs for free on their website, including The Jedi Drinking Song, If I Had a Million Ducats, and Always Look on the Bright Side of Life.

Likely to be your only chance in Missouri this year. (Hat Tip: The Elders Message Board)
